Carrie jokingly likes to describe being hoodwinked in to her first radio gig; she won a talent search only to learn the prize was working midnight to 6 AM for $7.50 an hour. It didn’t take long however for her to realize the good fortune of having gotten her foot in the door of the industry. She soon caught the radio bug and as an avid music lover was determined not to squander the opportunity. She worked her way up from doing overnights at WRNR in Annapolis to eventually becoming Music Director and Mid-Day Host, positions she held for several years.
In August of 2019 she heartily accepted the Afternoon-Drive Host position at WTMD in Baltimore and is thrilled to continue doing what she loves in not only her home state but a city with a thriving music scene.
