Michael Duffy is a Lecturer in the Electronic Media and Film Department at Towson University, where he teaches Film History, Genre Theory, and East Asian Cinemas. He has an M.A. from New York University and a Ph.D. from The University of Nottingham, England. He has worked at numerous film festivals, presents at conferences worldwide, and writes about Hollywood, special effects, and performance. He loves David Lynch’s DUNE equally as much as the works of Krzysztof Kieslowski.
