I loved talking with Cactus, better known as Secret Agent 23 Skidoo. The Grammy Award winning band has released seven albums, two books – even a hot sauce! We chatted about his latest release, The Beat Bach Symphonies, a blend of rich and universal folktales from different cultures around the world combined with melodies composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. The Beat Bach Symphonies is a collaborative effort with the Asheville Symphony and also features musicians and vocalists from West Africa, Peru, Japan, Egypt and the Cherokee Nation.
