Children's Chorus of Maryland
/

Some members of the Children’s Chorus of Maryland stopped by Young At Heart at WTMD recently, and Donnie recorded them singing two beautiful songs from their holiday program. I was excited to chat with director and conductor Susan Bialek and chorus members Lilly and Michelle about the CCM history and experience. The non-profit has been cultivating young singer musicians since 1976, creating enriching choral programs for youth between the ages of 5 and 16 years old.

CCM has won top honors, competing with as many as 210 choirs from around the country and as the featured choir at Carnegie Hall. Performing by invitation at the White House, the Kennedy Center, music educator conferences, and many other exciting venues around the country, the Chorus cultivates a personal and group experience through song.
