From Towson to GRAMMY Camp: Maisie Rehkemper

Maisie Rehkemper is finishing up her sophomore year at George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology and packing her bags for GRAMMY Camp this summer.

GRAMMY Camp is put on by the GRAMMY Museum that hosts the GRAMMY awards. Each year, high school students are invited to apply for their summer program. Maisie is one of those students accepted.

She initially was inspired to pursue music production because of the recording of her band’s first album. Her band, Saltbox, is working on a new EP now. At Carver, Maisie is able to explore audio engineering and live event mixing. She hopes to make a name for herself at GRAMMY Camp.

GRAMMY Camp starts in August at Artist House Studios in New York.
