| Chicago musician Lili Trifilio started Beach Bunny as a solo project a decade ago, expanded to a four-piece in 2017 while she was in college, and has been steadily releasing EP’s and albums annually from 2015 until 2022. During those seven prolific years, there were two songs that went viral on TikTok, resulting in external and internal pressure to keep pace with their success, even when the world had slowed down to a halt during the pandemic. Lili sits down with Carmel Holt to share how the three years following their last album found the band adjusting to new norms, and a rapidly changing world. After making some much-needed changes, Lili found her creative stride once again, and Beach Bunny has recently released their fantastic third full-length album, Tunnel Vision. |

| This week, we visit with two Southern crafters of music and song. Kentucky native and guitarist Joan Shelley takes her ethereal songwriting and voicing of life’s emotional flow from observations on the banks of the Ohio River near Louisville. Then, the virtuosic Blue Ridge pianist Jeff Little shares his stories of growing up playing alongside the legendary flat-pick guitarist Doc Watson at the family’s music store in Boone, North Carolina. It led to a singular career of playing high-speed fiddle tunes on the piano. Also music of love, loss, and fast trains with Bill Frisell, Johnny Cash, James Brown, Tom Waits and Elizabeth Cotton. |

Join us Saturday Jan. 24 for an exclusive all-seated show with Ed Hough’s Allman Brothers Collective at Kraushaar Auditorium in Towson. The show features an all-star lineup of musicians playing our favorite Allman Bros hits and deep cuts, and tickets include parking. The band features a who’s-who of musicians from Baltimore and beyond: Ed Hough (drums & vocals), Cris Jacobs (guitar & vocals), Mookie Siegel (organ & piano), Jonathan Sloane (guitar), Mike Gambone (drums), Dave Markowitz (bass) and Bobby Thompson (guitar & vocals). |
