With songs like “Have A Cigar” and “Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” has become one of the greatest rock albums of the 1970s.
And on Saturday July 26, WTMD is celebrating the 50th anniversary of “Wish You Were Here” by presenting the critically acclaimed 11-piece band Several Species: The PINK FLOYD Experience live in concert at Goucher’s Kraushaar Auditorium.
This will be an all-seated show, and tickets include free parking.

At this show, Several Species will perform “Wish You Were Here” in its entirely, as well as other Pink Floyd favorites.
There will be lasers, a giant flying pig and more.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday July 26. Parking is free and this is an all-seated show.
About the band
Several Species has performed in some of the most prestigious venues in the Mid-Atlantic region, including The 9:30 Club, The Lincoln Theater, Pier Six Pavilion, The Hippodrome, The Fillmore, Rams Head Live, and The Recher.
The band’s name derives from the Pink Floyd track “Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict.” In addition to the audio side of things, Several Species felt the visuals of their live shows were equally important to capturing the overall feel of a live Pink Floyd show.
To further enhance their live show experience, they added a laser light show, Arnold the inflatable pig, circular screen video projection, and quadraphonic surround sound.
