February is Black History Month, so to celebrate and honor that, on this Saturday’s Young at Heart Lisa will be playing some of her favorite kindie and kid-friendly music by black artists. We’ve also got a encore Artist Interview with Pierce Freelon, a hip hop/soul/electronic musician and Emmy-award winning producer, director and professor from Durham, NC. Pierce is a creative and very positive force and he talks about D.a.d. his debut kindie release, and his animated series The History of White People in America, among other things. Since this interview, Pierce has released the Grammy-nominated Black to the Future album.
Enjoy, and don’t forget to like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram at Young at Heart Radio.
