Ok this one is a little tricky because it was originally not a Christmas song but rather a Ukrainian folk chant. In the 1930’s the arranger for the NBC Symphony Orchestra created a new arrangement centered on bells and added new lyrics in English. Over 150 versions have been recorded since.
Looking for the name of the arranger here unless you can come up with the original Ukranian composer either may entail a little internet sleuthing.
The Shadow artist are a duo one of whose middle name is Maryland. Oh and her Dad was the lead singer of Little Feat.
