There are two Shadow artist. One is known mainly for his Hammond B3 organ skills. The Jazz Journalist Association named him organ/keyboardist of the year 9 times this century. His collaborator is known for an infamous peanut-butter incident and other on stage dramatics.
The original artist’s daughter infamously dated Red Hot Chili Peppers front man Anthony Kiedis for most of the 80’s.
The song was the original artist’s only #1 chart topper in the U.S.
