The original band was initially an idea conceived by others and they themselves did not have total control of their image or music until 5 years in to their career.

The Shadow artist originally wanted to pursue a career in farming, going so far as to major in animal husbandry and minor in veterinary science at The University of Massachusetts.

The song was written by one of the most successful songwriting teams of the 1960’s
