The 5 O’clock Shadow: Monday March 8, 2021
This was one of the first pop songs to feature the “Bo Diddley” sound.
The original singer/songwriter, who was an influence on such greats as Elvis, John Lennon and Bob Dylan, died tragically at age 22 in a plane crash. He recorded and released this song under his band’s name.
The Shadow artist has dual citizenship in both the U.K. and the U.S. She is known for her long, red locks and bohemian style of dress. She has named Stevie Nicks as both a musical and fashion influence.
