The 5 O’clock Shadow: Tuesday January 12, 2021
Both of today’s artist may cause you to question if fame and fortune are all they’re cracked up to be.
The Shadow artist was a prominent figure in the Seattle grunge scene before his tragic death in 2017. Garbage’s song “Fix Me Now” from the band’s debut album was originally named after The Shadow artist because as Garbage lead singer Shirley Manson has admitted she was obsessed with him at the time.
The original artist practically spent his entire life in the spotlight. He made his professional debut at 6 and went on to become the most awarded artist in the history of pop music.
The song’s title is also the name of a famous tennis star.
