We’re setting sail once more to bring free live music back to Baltimore! Our next Pirate Radio Concert is Oct. 10 with Mark Hopkins & the Pretty War. Pirate Radio Concerts are a partnership between WTMD, Stages Music Arts and Urban Pirates.
Our inaugural Pirate Radio Concert was such a hit, we’re partnering once again with Stages Music Arts and Urban Pirates to present one more free floating show, on Saturday Oct. 10.
The show will feature the irresistible funk and rock of Mark Hopkins & The Pretty War.
Since the sun sets earlier in October than our first Pirate Radio Concert last month, the timing will be slightly different — the ship comes to Canton Waterfront Park at 5:15 p.m. And we’re trimming the Federal Hill Park stop from the itinerary to save time and because of its distance from the water.
Here is the tentative schedule:
5:15 p.m. – Canton Waterfront Park
5:45 p.m.- Fells Point
6:15 p.m.- Inner Harbor
6:45 p.m.- Locust Point
You can enjoy the music at a safe distance from the shore, or aboard your own vessel in the Baltimore harbor. If you’re watching from land, be sure to follow city guidelines for social distancing.
WTMD’s Pirate Radio Concerts are made possible in part by Pink Whitney by New Amsterdam Vodka, Monument City Brewing Co., Little Havana, Live Baltimore, and the Maryland Department of Agriculture’s Maryland’s Best Seafood and Agriculture Products Program.
