Extra Decadent Sweet Potato Pie

Pie Ingredients:

(1) unbaked pastry shell

(4) Sweet Potatoes

(6) oz of evaporated milk

(2) tablespoon of all-purpose flour

(1) teaspoon of vanilla extract

(1) whisked XL Egg

(2) Cups of brown sugar

Glaze Ingredients:

(3/4) Cup of Sugar

(2 ½) teaspoons of all-purpose flour

(3) tablespoons of Irish Butter

(3) tablespoons of evaporated milk

(1/2) Cup of Pecans (Georgia Grown when possible) crushed into crumbles

Pie Directions:

-Peel, Boil and hand mash 4 sweet potatoes

-Preheat Oven at 400 degrees

-Whisk in medium sized bowl sugar, flour, evaporated milk, egg and vanilla extract

-Add mashed sweet potatoes and pour into pie shell

-Whisk in medium sized bowl glaze ingredients and gently brush glaze on top of pie including crust edges

-Add Pecans Crumbles on top

-Add to oven and bake for 45 to 50 min. (insert toothpick; when toothpick comes out clean it is done)
