The Shadow artist have released 3 albums on an independent label. As of 2017 they were one of the top touring bands in America. Their longtime cellist quit in 2018.
The original band first performed under the name The Blue Velvets and then The Golliwogs before settling on their final name which included a reference to the fact they had taken a 3 year hiatus while two of the bands members were called up for service.
The song is apropos of today’s weather.
