The original artist has hosted a music and arts festival at MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts since 2010.
In 2011 the Shadow artist played the original band’s festival and were joined onstage by the lead singer of the original band for a rendition of this song.
After the original band was dropped from their former record label the record this song was on was held up and not released as planned. The band decided to stream the album for free on their website. When it was finally released 7 months later it would go on to become their best-selling record.
