The Shadow artist is the first artistic advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center. For seven years he was the front man and pianist in an Indie rock band whose name included his name.

In 1985 this song was a top 20 hit in the U.K., Australia and New Zealand. It only reached #99 in the U.S. but was still significant as it was the band’s first single to break the Top 100.
