It’s that time of year when most any store you go into is playing holiday music. It’s okay. Most holiday music is kid-friendly! I’ll be playing some of my favorite kindie and kid-friendly holiday tunes this week and next to get everyone in a festive mood. Brian Simms and Tom Moon of Milkshake are back to help, with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s version of “Mr. Heatmiser” as today’s Talking Tunes. We’ve also got a song by Big Bird in honor of Caroll Spinney, who played both Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch on Sesame Street since its beginning. Caroll passed away Sunday, December 8th at the age of 85.
Enjoy, and don’t forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook at Young at Heart Radio.
