Two brothers in the UK started the original act. They were the youngest, and only boys among their family’s eight children. They went on to become one of the most influential rock bands of the 1960’s and beyond.
From their fuzzy, blues-based guitar leanings, to their unmistakable garage rock sound, to their melodic hooks this band was probably one of the acts influenced by the original artist. They currently reside in Nashville and have worked extensively with Danger Mouse.
The song was a bonus track on the original acts fifth album, released in 1967. We could all benefit from heeding the sentiment in the song’s lyrics.
