Today is the day that The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was fatally shot in Memphis. Many artists and musicians have been inspired to write songs about Dr. King through the years with one of the best known being U2’s Pride in the Name of Love.
We are looking for two Shadow artists who have recorded this great song today.
The first is a “Modern Day” Country artist who gets some help on this tune from Punch Brothers and Del McCoury. His last name could bring to mind a large, very expensive car.
The second is a singer with a powerful voice who met her now fiancée at one of our WTMD First Thursday Festival Shows.
The 5 O’Clock Shadow is presented by Coney Island Brewing Company.
