On today’s show we’ll be chatting with Sonia De Los Santos, and her bandmate Martin Vejarano. Sonia recently released Alegria, her second bilingual CD for kids and has graced the WTMD soundstage twice for two wonderful Saturday Morning Tunes performances. Sonia spent many years touring with Dan Zanes as part of his Family Band. Her two solo releases reflect her life growing up in Mexico and then moving here to America.
Inspired by Sonia, I’ll be playing music from artists who come from other places and speak other languages. I think you’ll agree music is a language everyone understands.
Enjoy!
