WTMD hosts the album release show for “House” by The Greenberry Woods on Thursday Dec. 6.

WTMD is thrilled to host the album release show for Baltimore power pop stars The Greenberry Woods!

The Greenberry Woods were one of Baltimore’s most popular bands in the early and mid-1990s. They signed to Sire Records, a subsidiary label of Warner Bros. and released “Rapple Dapple” in 1994 (featuring the hit single “Trampoline“) and “Big Money Item” the following year. They played the 1994 HFStival at RFK Stadium and opened for Debbie Harry, Squeeze and others.

The new album from The Greenberry Woods, “House,” is their first record in more than 20 years, and is a mix of studio and live recordings from 1989 to 1995.

The four members of The Greenberry Woods reunited earlier this year, and played a pair of sold out warm-up shows at Waverly Brewing Company. Even after all these years, the vocal harmonies and irresistible hooks are as airtight as ever.

Join us Thursday Dec. 6 for an evening of power pop with The Greenberry Woods! The Maryland indie rock/power pop group Kavoossi is the opening act!

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the music starts at 8 p.m. at 1 Olympic Place in Towson.

Sponsored by part by Flying Dog Brewery and Boordy Vineyards.
