The original band included this song on their 1967 debut album, produced by Andy Warhol who also designed the iconic album cover. Like much of the band’s material, the song deals with the darker side of the New York City underground – a tale of addiction and escape.

The 5 O’Clock Shadow is presented by Flying Dog Brewery.
