WTMD hosts a free screening of “Big Star: Nothing Can Hurt Me” on Thursday May 24.
Despite their name, Big Star hardly sold a record, and were only around for a few years before almost slipping into obscurity.
Almost.
Then, Big Star became one of the most influential bands in rock ‘n’ roll.
Join us Thursday May 24 as the WTMD Film Series, in partnership with Towson University’s Department of Electronic Media and Film, presents a free screening of the documentary “Big Star: Nothing Can Hurt Me.”
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the movie starts at 8 p.m. on Thursday May 24, right here at 1 Olympic Place in Towson. We’ll have popcorn and other refreshments.
