This Liverpool post-punk act became well-known for several gloomy pop hits in the 80’s, and in May, they’ll be releasing their 13th studio album. This song was used in the opening sequence to the film Donnie Darko.

You could walk over this influential 90’s indie rock band, but you’d be better off listening to their music. For the past couple decades, their frontman has been leading a band of jicks, who themselves have a new album on the way.
