It’s that time of year when the music gets real familiar, full of jingle bells and references to snow, Santa and presents. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be hearing some favorite holiday tunes mixed in with great kindie and kid-friendly music in general. But today, let’s celebrate winter – that season when the leaves have all fallen, the temperature gets colder, coats and mitten and hats and scarves come out the closet. And when the snow falls – if it falls – the world just seems less hurried and more quiet and beautiful.
Today we’ll also be chatting with kindie artists Uno Dos Tres Andres for this month’s smARTbeats. Andres and his wife Christina will join me this morning, talking about their work in MD schools as Teaching Artists through the non-profit Young Audiences Of Maryland.
Today’s Talking Tunes with Brian and Tom of Milkshake is “Candyman” by Sammy Davis Jr.
Enjoy!
