YOUNG AT HEART – Saturday November 18, 2017

Modified: November 20, 2017

Categories: Young At Heart

Today, we’ll play songs about fruits and vegetables. I love berries, watermelon, peaches and pretty much any veggie that doesn’t taste like okra. Maybe you’ll hear a song about one of your favorite vegetables and fruits this morning. I’m excited to chat with one of my favorite kindie artists Andrew & Polly this morning. They’re an incredible husband and wife team that have written music for various kid-friendly ventures and have released two award-wining CDs for kids. Their production credits include songs for Wallykazam!, Sesame Studios, the score to Welcome To The Wayne, and a bunch of commercials and films for grownups. But they also have this amazing podcast for kids called Ear Snacks. We’ll also be Talking Tunes with Brian and Tom – in keeping with our fruit and veggie theme, today’s tune is “Peaches” by Presidents of the United States of America.

Enjoy!
