This Saturday, we’ll hear a new segment of smARTbeats, our monthly feature spotlighting a teaching artist working in Baltimore schools through Young Audiences of MD, a non-profit focused on bringing arts into Maryland schools. We’ll be chatting with BaBa Bomani, a musician and teaching artist who has created his own form of hip-hop-influenced poetry and music.

Our Adult Kid is Willie Nelson, who released a “family album” with some old country classics and obscure tunes. We’ll also be Talking Tunes with Brian and Tom of Milkshake – today’s tune is “Balloon Man” by Robyn Hitchcock.

Enjoy!
