The original band were an English group led by two brothers, and although they never got as big as some of their contemporaries, they’re widely considered to be one of the most influential bands of the British Invasion era. One of the brothers recently released a new solo album, which served as a companion piece to a memoir of the same name.

It’s not unusual to find yourself singing along to one of the many hits that the Shadow artist has recorded over the course of his long and ongoing career in show business. This Welsh pop icon included his version on his 1999 collaborative covers album. The band he worked with on this particular song once wrote a ballad about him, and despite their name, he didn’t need a rocket ship to get to them.
