This Motor City five-piece played loud, aggressive, politically charged rock’n’roll, and along with contemporaries like The Stooges, paved the way for generations of hard-rocking, anti-establishment punk rockers who came after.

This song is the title track to their 1969 debut album, which was recorded live in Detroit, and just about sums up what we’ve been doing all day today… and every day for that matter.

The Shadow band – an iconic LA group who combined elements of hip-hop, heavy metal, punk and funk – were undoubtedly influenced by the energy and ideology of the original band. Last year, members of this band joined forces with members of two legendary rap groups for a new album and tour.
