This morning we’ll be playing songs about moving around in all the different ways humans like to move: cars, trucks, trains, rocket ships, on foot or bicycle. Our Adult Kids this week are the brother and sister duo The Carpenters. Although they never did a specifically-for-kids album, they recorded two songs from the Sesame Street catalog: “Sing” and “Rainbow Connection.” Their version of “Sing” became a big hit for them, which helped Sesame Street and its versions as well. And we’ll be Talking Tunes with Brian and Tom of the Milkshake band – today’s tune: “Dance This Mess Around” by the B52s.
Enjoy, and have fun moving through the day!
