It’s Mother’s Day Weekend and here at Young At Heart we take that as a serious call to celebrate and honor the moms in our lives. Besides playing some mom-centric tunes, our Adult Kid this week is musician and new mom Priscilla Ahn. We’ll be chatting with her about her music, including LA LA LA, her debut CD for kids. Here’s a video of “When You Grow Up,” a song off Priscilla’s second studio album for everyone.
We’ll also hear a quirky song about being good from the Flintstones cartoon – this one recorded by Frente for the Saturday Morning Cartoon’s Greatest Hits, an eat-your-veggies song from Frank Zappa (yes…Frank Zappa), and Danny Weinkauf’s song about moms possibly having eyes in the back of their heads. I had so much fun putting this show together, and hope you enjoy it.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms!
Until next week,
Lisa
