This weekend in Glen Rock Pennsylvania, there will be lots of elves, sprites, pixies and all kinds of other fairies and woodland beings, taking over Spoutwood Farms. It’s the 26th (they think) Annual May Day Fairie Festival. This organic and homegrown festival has been transporting children of all ages to a simpler, more peaceful time, with the natural world, for over a quarter century. The festival features May Pole and other forms of dancing, live music, theatrics, and lots of bubbles. Spoutwood Farm residents and festival founders Rob and Lucy Wood, along with Amy Fae, join Sam Gallant in studio for a real world discussion of the fantastic annual Fairie Festival.
