The original band are a super-duo made up of the frontman of a popular indie rock band, and a dangerous producer who first received national attention with a Jay Z/Beatles mashup in 2004. This was the lead single to their debut album together, and although it’s not always the easiest route, it’s often the right way to go.

The super-duper Shadow artist was 16 years old when she released her debut album in 2003, which consisted of all covers, including her very soulful reinterpretation of a White Stripes song. Her version of this song comes from her second album of covers, released in 2012.

The 5 O’Clock Shadow is presented by Flying Dog Brewery.
