Baltimore rock and power pop singer-songwriter Matt Hutchison performs at WTMD on April 20.
We first met Matt Hutchison more than 10 years ago, when he was the singer and guitarist for the popular indie rock band Fools and Horses.
Early on, through the screams of adoring fans, you could hear Matt’s talents as a songwriter — his ear for melody and love of power pop. Their song “The Therapy” was featured on a Starbucks compilation album, and the intro to that song still airs every week on WTMD as part of the Baltimore Hit Parade theme.

After Fools and Horses parted ways, Matt struck out on his own, recording a string of well-crafted solo albums under the moniker Matt Hutchison and the Big ‘Gin. His latest single, “Girl,” is fist-pumping indie rock at its finest.
Join us in WTMD’s performance studio for this intimate live broadcast with Matt Hutchison and the Big ‘Gin, presented by Flying Dog Brewery.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. This show is a fundraiser for WTMD.
Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts promptly at 9 p.m. at 1 Olympic Place in Towson.
