“Thaw,” photos of Cuba, the arctic and Antarctica by Janet Jeffers, opens at 7 p.m. Friday at WTMD, 1 Olympic Place in Towson. The exhibit has more than 50 photos — some small, one as large as 27 feet long by 9 feet high. The free reception features performances by Western Star and Jazz Lunch, and the exhibit is presented by New Belgium Brewing Company. Here is a look at some of the photos in “Thaw.”
