An Appreciation for Bowie’s ‘Young Americans’

This morning, Alex Cortright shared some thoughts on David Bowie’s 1975 album, Young Americans. Perhaps not his finest collection (especially given what was coming next – Station To Station and then the so-called Berlin trilogy), but an interesting look at Bowie’s ‘plastic soul’ genre exploration. Still, songs like ‘Fame’, ‘Young Americans’ and ‘Somebody Up There Likes Me’ really hold up four decades later.
