And Sylvan Esso’s other single “Coffee” may well top the listener generated countdown of WTMD’s Top 89 Songs of 2014.

The odd, yet seductive rhythms from producer Nick Sandborn, the cooing vocals of Amelia Meath and a summoning of a Tommy James and the Shondels song make “Coffee” such a surprise. It’s danceable, yet organic.
