Don Rogers’s Top 10 Songs of 2014

Modified: October 28, 2016

Don RogersEvery year I struggle to remember songs from early in the year, so why should 2014 be any different?  It was a great year in music.  We came across a bunch of talented new artists, hom town bands making it big, and great new material from legendary artists.  So here is my Top 10 of 2014, one of which is my pop music guilty pleasure.  These are in no particular order.

1.  Jack White “Lazaretto”
2.  TV on the Radio “Happy Idiot”
3. Foo Fighters “Something From Nothing’
4.  Future Islands “Season (Waiting on You)”
5.  Cowbell “Tallulah”
6.  Kasabian “eez-eh”
7.  Interpol “All the Rage Back Home”
8.  Hozier “Take Me To Church”
9.  Kooks “Bad Habit”
10. My guilty pleasure is  Iggy Azalea “Fancy”
