WTMD is losing one of the best Morning Show Hosts in the business. For nearly ten years, WTMD listeners have been starting the day with Erik Deatherage as he has anchored the 5am-9am shift. This Friday is Erik’s final day here at WTMD and while we are sad to see him go, we are also excited for him as he embarks on a new chapter in his life.

“While I have loved my nearly ten years at WTMD beyond description, those who know me know the Upper Midwest holds a special place in my heart. So I’m off to Fargo, North Dakota for a new, albeit chilly adventure with my fiancé”, said Erik.

“I want to thank the WTMD staff past & present, members and volunteers, the endless pool of talented musicians in Baltimore, many of whom I call my friends and anyone who has ever listened to me while I was piloting the TMD Morning Show. It’s been truly an honor to help wake up Baltimore on the best radio station in the country”, Erik continued.

Please join us for a musical send off this Friday at noon on Live Lunch as we welcome some of Erik’s favorite Baltimore musicians including Junestar, Caleb Stine and Letitia Van Sant.

Please come and say goodbye and wish Erik well!

Doors open at 11:30am, show time is 12noon and admission is free.

Live Lunch is made possible in part by Heavy Seas Loose Cannon IPA, The Circuit Restaurant, Bar and Music Venue, Mid-State Community Bank, Music Go Round, Zia’s Café in Towson and Cunningham’s Restaurant.
