Towson University Public Media will hold its first meeting of the Board of Directors on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 7pm. The meeting will take place in the WTMD Conference Room at 1 Olympic Place, Towson, MD 21204. This is the Board’s Organizational Meeting.
The agenda, subject to change, will include but is not limited to: Confirming the Directors, Electing Officers, Adoption of the TUPM bylaws, Approval of the management agreement between TUPM and Towson University, Approval of an anti-conflict of interest policy and other items related to the start up of the organization.
Towson University Public Media is a nonprofit corporation created under the University System of Maryland’s Affiliated Foundation Policy to manage the day-to-day operations and fundraising of WTMD 89.7 FM. Towson University is the owner of WTMD’s license and assets. Under the Affiliated Foundation Policy, Towson University holds three seats of the 15-member board. The remainder of the board is composed of community representatives from the Baltimore Metropolitan Region.
