Amos Lee Loves B’More

Philly native Amos Lee dropped by the TMD performance studio as he got ready for his gig at the Modell Lyric last night.

The singer-songwriter with the James Taylor-like warmth in his voice just put out, perhaps, his best album, Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers Are Song.

It’s got plenty of atmospheric rock textures to compliment the traditional Americana sounds of Jerry Douglas’s dobro and Alison Krauss’ Appalachian pipes.

As you’ll hear below, he shared a song that reminds us why Baltimore is such a small town, and an uncomfortably small world.
