Since Baltimore Hit Parade is a specialty show, it doesn’t register in our online playlist — at least not yet. For now, I’ll be posting the playlists to each week’s episode.
Here’s our playlist from Tuesday Sept. 24, which featured house band Thee Lexington Arrows, one of Baltimore’s best garage rock bands.
Fronted by Kathleen Wilson, Thee Lexington Arrows just released a fiery new album, “Dog That Bites.” Wilson talked about how the band got its start several years ago playing gritty dive bars and clubs in and around Baltimore. And guitarist Alex Fine, an illustrator who has drawn hundreds of posters for local shows, discussed the one that sticks out most in his mind. It was pretty gross.
