At WTMD, our home is your home. And to celebrate the grand opening of our new broadcasting facility, we are hosting the Rock ‘n’ Roll-a-thon, a 24-hour free live music marathon broadcast on-air and open to the public.
Black Joe Lewis kicks things off at noon Friday Sept. 27, followed by performances by 23 Baltimore bands, one each hour, through noon Saturday Sept. 28. The Baltimore artists include the Great American Canyon Band, the Bellevederes, Bosley, the Herd of Main Street, Bobby E Lee and the Sympathizers, Thee Lexington Arrows and Brooks Long and the Mad Dog No Good.
“Whether you want to drop by after a busy Friday at work, or come by Saturday morning and have coffee — or if you’re an insomniac and want to see live music at 4 a.m. — we’ll be here,” said Scott Mullins, WTMD’s program director.
WTMD is located at 1 Olympic Place off the circle in Towson. Here is the final lineup of confirmed bands.
