Kevin Brubaker has made it. In more ways than one. Brubaker Instruments makes high end solid body guitars and basses here in Maryland. They also have an entry level line of basses being manufactured in China. For this week’s Made in Maryland episode we visit the Owings Mills workshop of Brubaker Instruments.
The shop moved from Westminster in 2003 when a fire nearly ended the company. Now, hundreds of well known musicians use Brubaker instruments, including Kevin Walker who plays in the studio and on tours with Prince, Justin Timberlake and others.
