Jake Bugg Chucks the Duece to Yesterday on “Conan”

“Two Fingers” is the new tune from Jake Bugg that is slowly picking up steam here in the U.S. and is already largely popular in England which is where this 18 year-old calls home. It’s an ode to his not so far off teenage years. He chronicles his inebriation experiments with friends, dealing with the constant bickering between his mother and her beau,  and how he’s survived it all and puts it behind him by lighting a smoke and putting a peace sign in the air. Yes it’s a tad raw but the honesty pays off.

He joined Conan O’Brien last night for his U.S. television debut.

Also on the late night scene last night, Michael Kiwanuka stopped by Fallon to perform “Tell Me A Tale” with help from the Dap-Tone Horn section and of course The Roots sat in as well. Make sure to hang out for the jam towards the end.
