The Baltimore Orioles have had a great season. Now they are in the playoffs, which they haven’t been in since Elton John’s “Candle in the Wind” was the number one song in the country in 1997. Though you wont hear that song, music at an Orioles game has always been important. You will hear YMCA, Country Boy, and even some Motorhead as the Orioles take the field for the first inning. It’s not just important for the fans either, even the players get to pick out their own music to pump them up before stepping into the batters box or toeing the rubber. Below is a list of some current roster Orioles and their songs, which may change mid season if they are in a slump. Take a listen to the story below as well to hear more about the music at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
