Every week, Sound Opinions fires up smart and spirited discussions about a wide range of popular music, from indie rock to classic rock, hip hop to R&B, and every genre under the sun.

Now you can meet hosts Greg Kot and Jim DeRogatis and talk about music, artists and learn how the they put the show together each week.  This is a great opportunity to ask that burning question about your favorite band with these two music experts.

Jim DeRogatis spent 15 years as the rock critic at The Chicago Sun-Times and is the author of several books about music: Let It Blurt: The Life and Times of Lester Bangs, America’s Greatest Rock Critic; The Velvet Underground: An Illustrated History of a Walk on the Wild Side.

Greg Kot has been the music critic at the Chicago Tribune since 1990 and is the cohost of the nationally syndicated “Sound Opinions.” He has written several books, including “”Ripped: How the Wired Generation Revolutionized Music” and Wilco, “Learning How to Die.”

While this event is open to everyone, we do need you to make a reservation.  Click here to reserve your space and feel free to bring your friends.  Thursday September 22nd.  6:00-7:30 pm Baltimore Hilton, 401 West Pratt.
