Last night was the official pre-party for the All Good Festival with stellar sets from John Butler Trio and STS9, but today is the first full day of music and the crowd is really filling out. We have seen some performances so far from Giant Guerrilla Panda Dub Squad, The Infamous Stringdusters, That One Guy, and Galactic who is finishing up in just moments. Actually, for their last song I can hear them playing “How Many More Times”, the Zeppelin tune in the background from the media tent backstage.
It has been pretty warm so far, no rain, but there has been some nice breezes coming through that cool everyone off a bit. It gets pretty chilly at night, I had a long sleeve shirt and a hoodie on as STS9 was finishing up this morning a little after 3:45am. Everything is going great so far, the crowd seems to be having a blast and all the music so far has been incredible! I got to take a couple pictures so far of That One Guy and Galactic. Here is a few:
This year a huge Ferris Wheel sits on the horizon at All Good, a festival first. I have heard it was the same one that was at Bonnaroo and Phish own festival, Super Ball IX which just took place a few weeks ago. I haven’t been on it yet but I’m sure the view is amazing! At night the wheel, which is equipped bright l.e.d.s, displays an amazing light show adding a nice psychedelic touch. This isn’t the Ferris Wheel you grew up with.
Pictures to come once it gets dark. That’s all for now, Tyler and I will keep you updated as to whats going on. Twitter hasn’t been easy to use here so far but we will keep posting Blogs every couple of hours. Talk to you again soon!!
